About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Management – Project plan, meetings, budgets, schedules and Safety Supports Operational Projects and repair work associated with building functionality Develop detailed tracking methods to support Project health and success Develops, updates, and distributes campus plans and drawings Supports operational spend management Supports the development of Standards for Building construction Coordinating specific vendors based on project needs Assuring projects are including Carbon Neutral goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Facility Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
  • Associate's degree in construction management, project management, or related field. Or a combination of education and experience can be considered
  • Experience working in CAD systems
  • Experience managing third-party contracts and accountability for quantifiable results
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience with general office computer tools (word processing, spreadsheets, office communications)
  • Strong background in print reading skills for all trades (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, architecture)
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working with budgeting and purchasing processes

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of local and federal building codes
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State Safety regulations
  • CAD knowledge, skills and techniques for developing and amending floor/building drawings
  • Experience in the use power and Hand tools
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
