About The Position

Work for the IMF. Work for the World. The Corporate Services & Facilities Department (CSF) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Officer to join its Facilities Management Division (DF), reporting to the Chief of the Facilities Operations Section (OP). The Senior Facilities Officer coordinates management and oversight responsibilities of various facilities-related work activities including projects, programs, and initiatives at the IMF. The preferred candidate must be able to proactively ensure that quality and standards are maintained during the planning and execution of work activities to ensure risk mitigation, operational excellence, and business continuity in the delivery of a broad range of services. The candidate is also expected to coordinate with staff, contractual, and vendor employees to ensure optimum customer service, adherence with IMF Building Standards, and alignment with the Fund’s business needs.

Requirements

  • Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a relevant advanced university degree, or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities, Hospitality or Design and Construction or related field; or a bachelor's degree, or equivalent, supplemented by a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities, Hospitality or Design and Construction or related field, is required.
  • In the alternative, a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related position at Grade A10, or equivalent, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Facilities Division’s compliance program including vendor service level agreements, contract deliverables, and key performance Indictors (KPI’s) ensuring adherence to applicable standards, contractual agreements, and reporting requirements.
  • Manages and coordinates facility asset lifecycle replacement planning and updates relative to the Facilities Condition Index (FCI) providing inputs to the Division’s short and long-term capital budget development.
  • Coordinates the implementation and monitoring of compliance requirements for safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective projects delivery.
  • Directs multiple design, construction, and renovation projects to ensure that schedules, budgets, and commitments are delivered on, and recommendations and decisions are based on sound data analysis.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of customer service programs related to facilities operations.
  • Ensure effective oversight of vendor-managed customer service programs, including the Facilities Helpdesk, Parking, and Property Management, to deliver timely and high-quality support to stakeholders.
  • Review and enhance procedures to improve client experience and service delivery.
