Powering tomorrow’s feel-good moments, you’ll find us at the forefront of transformative technology, exploring new and innovative ways to serve our millions of customers.  We are seeking a versatile Senior Experience Designer to join our Global Design team working on emerging product experiences in our Engage pillar. The position requires demonstrable expertise in solutions with strong design work, design sensibility, and articulate storytelling. This is a hands-on role focused on both product discovery and design deliverables for 0-to-1 product definition. The position involves participating in the entire design lifecycle – conducting user research (in-person, moderated, and unmoderated), translating research data into actionable user flows, mapping customer journeys, documenting service blueprints, building prototypes, and producing high-fidelity designs for development handoff. You will work across the entire product development lifecycle and deliver against every stage of the product design process with an orientation toward inclusion, accessibility, and utility. The Senior Experience Designer will also assist with the maintenance of the design system, including support in co-writing component specifications and following established accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about design, and able to take initiative with minimal direction.DutiesYour attention to detail is world-class, your design skills impeccable, and you love putting structure around difficult problems. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in user centered experience design, with a focus on commerce.
  • Experience working with UX researchers and acting on the research analysis in their design work.
  • You have a portfolio that demonstrates creative design thinking with an understanding of Human Centered Design.
  • You are a design thinker who looks holistically for solutions that span the entire customer journey.
  • You understand and can speak with familiarity about technical considerations and how your design works with enterprise technology.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with UX research methods
  • Delivery of highly polished detailed designs in Figma and translating that into JIRA or similar
  • Strategic product thinking and partnership
  • A demonstrated capacity for UX diagramming (journeys, task flows/workflows, blueprints, frameworks)
  • Experience working with content designers and an ear for designing functional language
  • Demonstrated facility with modern consumer mobile app patterns

  • You champion ongoing improvements by considering market analysis, user feedback, metrics, and usability findings.
  • You will partner closely with product management and engineering teams to drive innovation and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • You actively drive the design review cycle and facilitate the discovery of design requirements.
  • You effectively lead collaboration across teams; not just responding to business requirements but actively using design methods to help define them.
  • You will consistently think about and apply Accessibility best practices (WCAG)
