About The Position

The Datadog Global Events Team is hiring a Senior Event Marketing Manager to lead customer Summits across the EMEA region. This position will be based in New York and report to the Summit Series Group Manager based in the US. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of event operations and marketing experience and is comfortable managing multiple international events in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. International travel within EMEA is required and will be approximately 40% for this role. This lead planner position will own several Summits across EMEA, including key markets such as the UK, France, and Germany, and will play a critical role in growing the Summit series year over year in both established and emerging markets. We are looking for a candidate with strong project management skills who can lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver high-impact events. Previous experience working within these regions is preferred. Requirements

  • Event marketer with 6–8 years of experience delivering international B2B programs (tech industry preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver events in EMEA markets; prior experience in the UK, France, Germany, or broader EMEA region preferred
  • Strong vendor and agency management skills, with a track record of successful onsite execution
  • Organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple projects independently
  • Curious, results-oriented, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Proactive problem solver with a willingness to take on a wide range of tasks

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of customer Summits across EMEA, managing logistics, vendors, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Develop and implement scalable project management templates and workflows to support regional event planning
  • Host weekly stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment across marketing, brand, events, comms, and other key teams
  • Own and maintain internal communication channels such as project pages, update decks, dashboards, and Confluence sites
  • Collaborate on integrated communication strategies including promotional emails, social media, and customer messaging
  • Analyze event performance and marketing campaign results to optimize future events
