About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Evangelist with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence to champion OutSystems’ vision, technology, and impact across the US developer community. As a respected thought leader, you will represent the company at developer conferences, industry events, and communities, while also rolling up your sleeves to execute initiatives that amplify our presence and connect us with developers, customers, and partners. This role is equal parts strategic leader and hands-on operator: you will identify opportunities to position OutSystems as a leading voice in AI, manage a US-based evangelism team, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that our presence at events, meetups, and forums is not only visible but truly impactful. Requirements

Recognized background and credibility in Artificial Intelligence, with a strong public profile and network in the developer community.
Experience in developer relations, evangelism, advocacy, or a related technical leadership role.
Proven track record as a speaker, writer, and thought leader in software development and AI.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

Thought Leadership & Presence Serve as a recognized voice in the AI community, speaking at conferences, panels, meetups, podcasts, and webinars.
Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, researchers, and practitioners in the US dev community and the AI space.
Create and publish insightful content (blogs, articles, talks, videos) to showcase expertise and reinforce company positioning.
Establish a presence in social networks, such as Reddit, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Event Strategy & Execution Identify, evaluate, and secure opportunities for company presence at major US AI and tech events.
Oversee and actively participate in event planning, execution, and post-event engagement.
Set ambitious goals for the team, strongly supported by data, that clearly show the strategy's progress and success.
Ensure seamless collaboration with sales, marketing, and solution architects to maximize impact.
Team Leadership Mentor a US-based evangelism and advocacy team.
Coordinate roles and responsibilities across internal teams for event participation.
Foster a culture of excellence, learning, and collaboration within the advocacy function.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Product, and Marketing to align messaging and initiatives.
Provide field insights and feedback to product and leadership teams.
