About The Position

This is an opportunity to join our Finance Department at a pivotal moment. We are seeking a project lead to transition our current legacy ERP system to Microsoft D365 Business Central, serving as the functional authority and helping usher in a new chapter. The Senior ERP Analyst is responsible for leading the implementation, administration, optimization, and support of the company's ERP platform (D365 BC) and other integrated systems (CRM, HRIS, engineering design software, etc.). The role functions as a critical bridge between key business units, including IT, Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations - helping to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and ensure smooth day-to-day system performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other degree with commensurate ERP experience
  • 5+ years of ERP support experience, including 3+ years supporting Business Central in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years experience in a Project Management role as the lead or 2nd on major projects
  • Expertise with Business Central, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Jira, and all Office 365 products, especially Excel
  • Experience integrating ERP with HRIS, CRM and other platforms
  • Strong experience working in business operations, especially accounting/finance, supply chain, and discrete manufacturing
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethical business practices, and a people-centered corporate culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Exceptional diplomacy and communication skills that can engage diverse, cross-functional teams to a desired outcome on time and on budget, and confidence in clearly articulating ideas, goals and progress across the organization, from senior leaders to staff-level stakeholders

  • Technical certifications, especially MB-800 (Business Central Functional Consultant)
  • Candidates with a major technology/implementation consulting firm background
  • Experience in an engineered-to-order manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project to migrate to Microsoft D365 Business Central – including the overall integration and implementation, data migration, data mapping, cutover planning, configuration, end-to-end testing, user training, and change management to support go-live and post-launch success
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams and external support partner(s), including project cost management, during the implementation project and any other subsequent projects that center the ERP
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the ERP and integrated business systems, including but not limited to maintenance, testing, updates and ensuring system-level integrity; this also includes managing the accuracy and integrity of the master data in its entirety within the ERP environment
  • Lead efforts to identify system pain points and work with the system vendor to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical and user-facing documentation and process instructions for system configuration and procedures
  • Develop and conduct user training and train-the-trainer sessions for system upgrades, customizations, and integrations
  • Manage user access, proper separation of duties, and role-based security in the ERP system
  • Oversee integrations (e.g., HRIS & ERP data sync, CAD software automation)
  • Build and maintain dashboards, custom queries, and reports
  • Drive process automation and standardization within the ERP ecosystem
  • Provide support, both during production hours and as an on-call basis, helping maintain process accuracy and business continuity during all phases of the project and after post-launch
  • Collaborate with external vendors for support and system enhancements, patches, upgrades, etc.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of the ERP, proactively identifying and addressing system issues via reports and system monitoring
  • Other duties as assigned
