About the Investment Research Team Our Philadelphia-based fundamental equity team focuses on large cap value and global equity. We are a curious, collaborative, high-performing group who seek to identify the best combination of valuation characteristics, earnings growth, and quality with identifiable catalysts for appreciation while attempting to avoid common behavioral finance mistakes. Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in equity research (buy-side preferred).
  • Deep sector expertise in one or more industries relevant to large cap value.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful stock recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA encouraged but not required.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, comparables, scenario analysis).
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel, and other financial tools.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Curiosity, kindness, willingness to be collaborative and open-minded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professional maturity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional languages beyond English may be a plus.
  • Experience participating in external client/consultant meetings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental research on value-oriented equities across a variety of sectors, capitalizations and geographies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks.
  • Produce well-supported investment recommendations with clear risk/reward profiles.
  • Monitor company performance, earnings, and industry developments continuously.
  • Engage with company management, industry experts, and the sell-side community.
  • Write and present investment theses to the portfolio management team.
  • Contribute to portfolio construction discussions and risk assessments.
  • Take initiatives to set up and lead responsible investment engagements with companies.
  • Collaborate with other analysts to identify cross-sector opportunities and risks.
  • Participate in client, prospect and consultant meetings to help us grow our business.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
