Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or an environmental related field required.
5+ years’ experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
Knowledge of the local regulations or skill sets related to the specific work on project
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and new legislation
Technical writing and communication skills
Able to lead a team or project effort.
Able to manage subcontractors for project specific specialty environmental work .

Nice To Haves

Environmental certification preferred.
CPESC Certification (CA QSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Audits, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to clients and regulatory bodies.
Advises design and construction teams on minimizing environmental impacts.
Manages subcontractors for specific environmental tasks.
Conducts impact assessments to mitigate environmental risks and costs.
Prepares environmental reports for supervisor and leadership review.
Raises awareness of emerging environmental issues across the organization and e ngages in environmental education and research .
Coordinates public hearings and consultations on environmental matters.
Trains staff on environmental responsibilities.
