About The Position

Senior Environmental Engineer and Scientist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Environment Health and Safety (EHS) is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer and Scientist to join our Environmental Engineering team in Ridley Park, PA . Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 specialists to find the best fit for the position. This position will require a candidate with knowledge and experience across multiple environmental media/programs as well as strong team leadership abilities. Ridley Park is an exciting site that supports military programs such as the CH-47 Chinook helicopter and V-22 Osprey aircraft. Position Responsibilities: Develop strategies and direct the integration of environmental management systems, processes and programs to support multiple environmental media/programs Lead compliance reviews of internal processes and practices; support enterprise and third-party audits Work within EHS and across functions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Boeing policies Identify opportunities to reduce regulatory risks Participate in business or enterprise-wide environmental management processes, including technical assistance and/or assessments at other BDS locations Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher 5+ years of experience with environmental engineering supporting manufacturing 5+ years of experience with environmental engineering specifically in a team lead role Travel up to 10% Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience with environmental regulations in Pennsylvania Aerospace environmental compliance experience Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Summary Pay Range (Senior, Level 4): $127,500 - $172,500 Summary Pay Range (Lead, Level 5): $153,850 - $208,150 Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with environmental engineering supporting manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience with environmental engineering specifically in a team lead role
  • Travel up to 10%
