What We're Looking For: Michael Baker International is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Philadelphia Operations team in Fort Washington, PA, supporting NEPA transportation projects. This role focuses on delivering high-quality environmental documentation and permitting support while managing technical tasks within established schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate is a mid-level NEPA specialist with a solid foundation across key environmental disciplines, including ecology, water quality, wetlands, noise and air monitoring, cultural resources, hazardous materials, and socioeconomics/land use. Responsibilities include supporting environmental technical studies and field investigations such as wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species surveys, water quality sampling, aquatic, vegetation, and wildlife surveys, hazardous materials assessments, and noise monitoring. The role also involves data processing, documentation, and preparation of clear, defensible technical reports.
