About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Delivery Specialist for Dow Diamond Systems at St. Charles Operations located in Hahnville, LA. As the Environmental Delivery Specialist, you will lead facility environmental compliance and implementation of the compliance management system in support of the license to operate. This role requires expanded conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (“Diamond Infra”) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027. At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Science or Technical-related discipline or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking.
  • A minimum of 3 years EH&S, manufacturing/environmental permitting or related experience.

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
  • Environmental Regulatory Expertise: You understand and apply environmental regulations related to waste, water, and air. You conduct regulatory applicability assessments and develop compliance strategies that align with both business and legal requirements.
  • Compliance & Permitting Strategy: You analyze permit requirements, update permits, and implement compliance plans. You ensure accurate documentation and reporting to support the site’s license to operate.
  • Data Interpretation & Reporting: You collect, analyze, and interpret environmental compliance data—such as waste volumes, water discharges, and air emissions—to identify trends, ensure regulatory alignment, and support informed decision-making through accurate reporting.
  • Communication & Training: You develop and deliver environmental training, conduct audits, and support the Management of Change (MOC) process. You help build a strong EH&S culture through effective communication and engagement.
  • Systems Thinking & Continuous Improvement: You implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS), streamline work processes, and contribute to projects that support corporate environmental goals and improve operating discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Environmental guidance (waste, water and air) to facilities on site.
  • Permit(s) requirement analysis and compliance plans including documentation strategies and regulatory applicability assessments.
  • Participate in Environmental incident investigations and corrective action process.
  • Perform data collection and reporting for environmental compliance data including waste, water and air emissions reporting.
  • Interpret and apply environmental regulations.
  • Provide Environmental training development and delivery, Environmental auditing, Environmental management of change review, and delivery of Environmental programs.
  • Implement Environmental management systems in order to add value to the business, meet business objectives and maintain the license to operate.
  • Conduct Environmental culture diagnosis and gap closure.
  • Interface with regulatory authorities for inspections, inquiries, audits and provides input for permit negotiations.
  • Implement new or updated Environmental programs.
  • Provide Environmental expertise and input to the plants’ efforts for improving operating discipline and documentation.
  • Serve as a reviewer for the plant MOC (Management of Change) process.
  • Provide updates to environmental permits for their plants and implementation of the requirements management work process.
  • Provide Environmental expertise to define projects necessary for successful achievement of the corporate Environmental goals.
  • Streamline Environmental work processes by developing/updating operating discipline and associated tools.
