Edesia is a non-profit social enterprise on a mission to end global malnutrition. We manufacture and distribute life-saving, ready-to-use therapeutic foods—such as Plumpy’Nut and Nutributter—to treat and prevent malnutrition among children and mothers in the world’s most vulnerable and hard-to-reach c ommunities. Through strong partnerships with leading humanitarian organizations, NGOs, and Ministries of Health, we ensure our products reach those who need them most—even in the midst of the most complex and challenging humanitarian emergencies. The Senior EHS Manager is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving industrial EHS programs across manufacturing and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Sr. Global Director of EHS, this role complements day-to-day EHS management by providing deep technical expertise, strong manufacturing acumen, and a continuous improvement (CI) mindset to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risk while enabling safe, compliant, and efficient operations. This role is critical in building scalable, audit-ready EHS systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations, and in embedding safety excellence into operational culture. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing and plant-based leadership experience, with the ability to scale from site ownership to multi-site technical leadership. They will apply a practical, risk-based EHS approach, drive change through influence and continuous improvement, and demonstrate proven success in regulatory compliance, site safety programs, and embedding EHS into daily operations.
