About The Position

Collins Aerospace, a division of RTX, is looking for a Health, Safety, and Environment Senior Analyst to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will serve as an expert advisor to directors, department heads, supervisors, and employees of the Engine Nacelles (PQUAD) department to guide them toward best practices in occupational health and safety. Relocation assistance will be provided What You Will Do As a Health, Safety, and Environment Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for, among other things: Ensure adherence to the company's health and safety policies and procedures, Support operations by conducting safety task analyzes Researching best practices in occupational health and safety Conduct operational control audits and risk assessments. Promote cross-functional collaboration autonomously, while mutually supporting each other and learning collectively. Be the guardian and promoter of our policies, ensuring that they are not only respected but also lived out daily by each team member; Conduct risk and task analyzes that are not limited to compliance, but anticipate and neutralize dangers before they even appear. Integrate the SSE vision upstream of each project, each change, to ensure that safety is at the foundation of our innovation; Support managers in incident investigations that go beyond symptoms to eliminate root causes; Maintain and elevate our certification standards, transforming audits into true levers for continuous improvement; - Identify training needs, then participate in updating them. Facilitate sessions that do not just inform, but transform mindsets and behaviors. Be the driving force behind our cultural evolution in HSE, moving from reaction to proactivity. Establish your credibility so that your HSE recommendations are integrated from the earliest stages of decision-making; - Develop a strategic vision to anticipate the organization's needs and position HSE as a competitive advantage; Master the art of persuasive communication to mobilize all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to the management; - Build a work environment so safe that it becomes a reference, thus sustainably protecting our company's most vital resource: our talents.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years experience in health and safety in the manufacturing sector, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Complete bilingual proficiency (French and English), both spoken and written.
  • Experience in project management, risk analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in MS office.
  • Experience in Quebec Health, Safety and Environmental laws and regulations ( Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité au travail CNESST )

  • This position requires communicating orally and in writing with engineering teams and customers located in the United States.
  • Following an analysis, we have determined that the tasks related to the position of production engineer require knowledge of English (verbal and written).
  • We have also determined that the knowledge of English already required of other employees does not allow the performance of the tasks due to its highly technical nature.
  • However, Collins Aerospace restricts as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires knowledge of a language other than French.
  • Collins Aerospace only requires proficiency in English when necessary to perform an employee's job duties.
