About The Position

Designs, Develops, and Supports Microsoft O365 SharePoint, B2B, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power App, Teams and other applications to automate and streamline business and IT processes. Management of Microsoft Entra ID. Focuses on long-term ownership, governance and user adoption of these technologies and developed solutions. Academic and Trade Qualifications: Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred. Combination of training and work experience may be substituted for the educational requirements. Work Experience: A minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in Microsoft 365 / Office 365 preferred. Including hands-on experience in SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Teams and Other O365 applications. Experience with Power Platform governance, security and licensing. Work experience in the public utility industry or energy sector is preferred.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft O365 development, automation and management.
  • Sound knowledge of documentation processes, operational procedures, project planning and quality assurance techniques.
  • An aptitude for communications and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships (internally and externally) is a must.
  • Position should be a self-starter who is well organized and a team player, have excellent presentation and communications skills and be able to multi-task and work under established deadlines.
  • Should be able to learn new technologies and apply knowledge to build repeatable processes.
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develops and Supports Microsoft O365 SharePoint, B2B, PowerBI, Power Automate and other applications to automate and streamline business and IT processes.
  • Acts as the team lead for Microsoft O365 automation and management.
  • Completes systems administration and maintenance within recognized best practices.
  • Implement Power Platform solutions with performance, scalability, and security in mind.
  • Integrate Teams with SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Manage user, groups and permissions using Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Gather and refine business requirements with end users while providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.
  • Follows the established procedures for change control, root cause analysis, issue resolution, service ticket creation, assignment resolution and closure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Lead departmental and interdepartmental projects / project teams and work cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
  • Apply system enhancements and modifications to improve performance efficiency keeping in mind long-term impact, scalability, and trade-offs.
  • Remain abreast of and research industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
