About The Position

UpSlide is the #1 productivity solution for financial services, enhancing PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI for clients like Citi, KPMG, and BNP Paribas. The Senior Enterprise BDR will be an integral part of the dynamic US sales team, reporting to the VP Sales for the US team, Ava Ghosseiri, and collaborating with Enterprise and SMB AEs. The sales team emphasizes being trusted advisors, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This role involves owning the top-of-funnel motion for enterprise accounts across North America (US & Canada), working closely with Enterprise AEs on strategic account plans, and targeting C-suite and MD-level buyers in investment banks, asset managers, PE firms, and Big 4 firms. The team's goals are to expand market reach and establish strong client connections, with the BDR's contributions directly impacting business growth through research, targeted outreach, and securing meetings with senior executives. The onboarding program is a comprehensive 4-month journey designed to equip the new hire with product knowledge, market understanding, sales cycle insights, and prospecting strategies, leading to independent engagement and high-value conversations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in outbound B2B SaaS business development - full-time (not internship)
  • A demonstrated track record of self-sourced pipeline on enterprise or mid-market accounts
  • Experience targeting and engaging C-suite or MD-level buyers from first contact
  • Exposure to financial services (investment banking, asset management, PE, Big 4, or adjacent) — not required to be a sector expert, but can't be starting from zero
  • Active use of AI tools in your prospection workflow
  • Proficiency with enterprise sales tools: Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LeadIQ
  • Based in NYC, able to work onsite 3 days/week

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep account research and identify enterprise prospects across North America
  • Work closely with Enterprise AEs to build strategic account maps and coordinate outreach across buying groups
  • Develop creative and compelling outbound messaging tailored to senior financial services audiences
  • Define and implement intelligent multi-channel outbound campaigns — email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and more
  • Secure and lead initial meetings with C-suite, COO, CFO, and MD-level executives
  • Lead discovery calls to understand prospects' processes, challenges, and priorities
  • Continuously test and iterate on messaging, targeting, and sequencing to improve efficiency
  • Informally support and mentor junior BDRs on the team
