We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the technical delivery and ongoing evolution of the backend systems that power our student journey. This role owns the services and integrations that connect our middleware to core platforms across our learning ecosystem - including learning management systems (Brightspace), community tooling (Circle), and other downstream systems - ensuring a reliable, scalable, and cohesive end-to-end experience for our students. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll directly manage a small team of engineers, guide technical execution day-to-day, communicate clearly and proactively with the team, and stay close enough to the work to help unblock delivery and raise the bar on quality, speed, and clarity. You’ll report to the SVP of Engineering and partner closely on architectural decisions and technical direction. While major platform choices are made collaboratively, you’ll be empowered to make technical calls for your team and act as the primary technical voice in cross-functional partnerships, especially with Product.
