About The Position

We’re looking for a highly product-driven, execution-oriented Engineering Manager to define and own the technical vision for how users onboard and activate through our Marketplace Experiences. As a Manager within the Match Success team leadership bench, you’ll transform the way we work, envision, and deliver experiences to our clients and providers to connect seamlessly and form long-lasting care relationships. You’ll build a team which will architect and deliver the next generation of marketplace authentication services, booking, notifications and activation experiences. This role operates at the intersection of product, engineering, provider success, and quality. You will bring clarity to ambiguity, drive technical strategy, and scale a high-performance engineering culture with a founder’s mindset. This is a rare opportunity to help build the “Uber/Airbnb of healthcare” and create the marketplace that makes care accessible at national scale.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of engineering management, including 2+ years leading product engineering teams
  • Demonstrated strength in product engineering, deeply understanding user needs and shaping delightful, high-quality experiences.
  • Strong architectural and technical sense - able to define a vision, influence direction, and drive execution.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, ambiguous projects that span multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly data-driven mindset, comfortable with experimentation, measurement, and optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership, including influencing non-technical stakeholders.
  • A track record of multiplying talent, mentoring engineers, and creating high-performance environments.
  • Founder’s mindset - ownership, speed, scrappiness, resilience, bias toward action.
  • Clear frameworks and philosophies for technical leadership, force multiplication, and scalable execution.
  • Extremely curious about new technologies such AI and ways to make teams going faster by keeping level of engagement high.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the long-term technical and product visions for core Marketplace Experiences.
  • Oversee the re-architecture of scalable backend systems that support high-volume matching, transactions, availability management, and operational workflows
  • Design and evolve our conversion flows including authentication, booking, and applied AI patterns.
  • Continually improve key marketplace flows such as appointment management, notification, cancellation handling, and authentication flows.
  • Develop operational frameworks for planning, prioritization, incident management, and delivery excellence.
  • Use data deeply by instrumenting systems, measuring impact, and optimize marketplace performance and provider-client matching success.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performance engineering team, raising the bar for technical execution, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Create AI levers for development flows such as documentation, operations, and architectural guardrails to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across the engineering lifecycle.
  • Advocate for both client and provider experience needs, translating insights into technical investments and roadmap priorities.
