We are seeking a mission-driven Engineering Manager to lead the engineering efforts behind our billing platform and operations. This individual will support a team of engineers (6-10 members) focused on building and maintaining critical billing products and tools. The role will require close collaboration with product, commercial, finance, and operations teams to develop solutions that enable seamless revenue recognition, billing cycles, and client configurations. You'll have the opportunity to hire, coach, and accelerate individual growth. You'll guide your team toward the right metrics and feedback loops to empower its continuous improvement. As an engineering leader you will be expected to know the ins and outs of your team's tech stack. Additionally we expect our leaders to spend ~15% of their time working in the code and merging pull requests regularly. We enjoy a continuous deployment DevOps culture, and take owner-operator pride in supporting our code in production with an on-call rotation. Rotations vary by team. Our production systems rely on React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Rails, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Apollo, and Redux. Our workflow is trunk-based CI/CD, and our security/compliance posture is at the highest standards of healthcare, including HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and CCPA.
