About The Position

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. (ISS) is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). The NETMAN Senior Engineer provides engineering, operational, and capability management support for enterprise-level network management systems. Requirements

  • Top Secret Clearance
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Certification (IAT Level III)
  • One of the following: CASP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP
  • A CE certification: Microsoft or Linux
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in information technology field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Network Management (such as CA Spectrum® and eHealth®).
  • Knowledge of CMDB/SS.
  • Working Knowledge of Jumpstart (bare metal recovery) VM (Virtual Machine).
  • Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and hardening using DISA’s Benchmark.
  • CA Spectrum® Product Family (minimum 9.2).
  • CA eHealth® (minimum 6.3).
  • CA Business Intelligence (CABI) (minimum 3.2).
  • OneClick for CA Spectrum® (minimum 9.2) OneClick for eHealth® (minimum 6.3).
  • Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and capability support for enterprise NETMAN tools on Windows and RHEL servers, ensuring compliance with STIG and security standards.
  • Manage and support network monitoring platforms, including CA Spectrum®, eHealth®, and analytics tools.
  • Identify and remediate network/device failures, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
  • Analyze network traffic and bandwidth trends using deep packet inspection and analytics to deliver actionable insights.
  • Integrate and correlate data from global network sensors, maintaining situational awareness and automated alerts.
  • Lead planning, design, integration, and technical support for projects such as ADCNOMS.
  • Build and maintain lab and FlexPod environments to support team resources.
  • Develop and distribute technical documentation (Build Guides, ETPs, technical papers).
  • Mentor team members and collaborate with government customers to meet performance, security, and operational objectives.
  • Perform troubleshooting, installation, updates, and configuration for complex network tools and systems, including off-hours support.
