About The Position

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the Army Gold Master (AGM) Image. The selected candidate will provide windows engineering support for maintenance of the AGM baseline. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following: · Provide Windows engineering support for the AGM baseline, including maintenance, validation, and release readiness · Perform Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of operating systems and applications · Conduct Systems Acceptance Testing (SAT) and release validation activities · Design and execute test plans, test cases, and verification procedures · Test operating systems and applications in controlled lab environments · Perform registry checks, configuration validations, and engineering compliance reviews · Conduct DoD security compliance testing and validation · Utilize SCAP and ACAS (Tenable) for automated vulnerability scanning and remediation validation · Track test results, defects, and remediation efforts using Azure DevOps · Develop dashboards and reports to monitor system status, risks, and validation results · Configure, maintain, patch, and support virtual environments using Hyper-V and VMware Workstation · Provide Tier III troubleshooting and break/fix support for system-level issues · Document technical issues, errors, and resolutions · Develop step-by-step remediation guides for Tier I and Tier II support teams · Coordinate with helpdesk, engineering teams, cybersecurity personnel, and leadership to ensure deployment readiness Why Work For ISS? Requirements

  • Secret Clearance
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience
  • One of the following certifications (IAT Level III): SecurityX, CCNP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate)
  • 2–8 years of experience in the IT field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
  • Experience with systems testing, validation, and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and vulnerability management tools
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Azure DevOps for test case management and reporting
  • Prior experience supporting DoD or Army enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting baseline images or enterprise-level system deployments
