About The Position

The Project & Process Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering and operations-related projects to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and cost control. This role serves as a central point of coordination between engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and external stakeholders. Nadcap compliance, project tracking, procurement, documentation control, and issue resolution. This will be an onsite role in Melbourne, FL working a 9/80 schedule.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Nadcap & Compliance Management Special Process’s experience.
  • Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Ariba), PDM systems, and project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Nadcap program manager, ensuring ongoing compliance with Nadcap special process requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate Nadcap audits, self-assessments, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
  • Track audit findings, corrective action plans, and closure status in collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations teams.
  • Maintain documentation and records required to support Nadcap accreditation and customer audits.
  • Track multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
  • Follow up regularly with engineers to monitor progress, address risks, and resolve roadblocks.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and leadership.
  • Prepare project status updates, dashboards, and reports for management review.
  • Identify and order tools, fixtures, equipment, and production support materials required to support engineering and manufacturing needs.
  • Submit and manage purchase orders through the Ariba procurement system.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support production readiness by ensuring required tools and materials are available prior to project or product launch.
  • Manage expense reports and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  • Review, reconcile, and track corporate credit card transactions related to projects, tools, and services.
  • Support budget tracking for engineering and operations projects, including cost monitoring and variance reporting.
  • Release engineering drawings and documentation into the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
  • Ensure proper version control, approvals, and documentation accuracy in accordance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to maintain up-to-date and compliant technical documentation.
  • Communicate, track, and follow up on Digital Technology (DT) issues across engineering, operations, and IT teams.
  • Ensure DT issues are properly documented, assigned to the appropriate owners, escalated when necessary, and closed in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and digital/IT teams to support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor the status of DT-related system issues, tools, and applications that impact engineering and manufacturing workflows, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
