About The Position

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Forensics Engineer/Project Manager to join their dynamic Diagnostics Group. The role requires relevant experience in acquiring Structural Diagnostics business with an industrial or commercial structure focus, and project management experience is essential. The Forensics Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for managing the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects, focusing on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics-related work. This engineer will also contribute to marketing, business development, and the growth of the Diagnostics Group. The ideal candidate should have experience and interest in restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering. They should be a high-energy, self-motivated project manager capable of working in a strong team environment, serving clients nationally and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity, and assertiveness are required. Requirements

  • Relevant experience acquiring Structural Diagnostics business with either an industrial or commercial structure focus
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience and interest in the area of restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, water infiltration, building envelope issues in addition to forensic engineering work
  • High energy level and be a self-motivated project manager
  • Ability to work within a strong team environment
  • Technical specialization, proactivity and assertiveness when meeting client and project needs
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
  • P.E. license is required
  • Litigation/ forensics experience and attorney/insurance client relationships
  • Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)
  • Strong technical, written and verbal communication
  • Strong people management skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with focus in Structures preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects within the office with focus on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics related work
