The Wet Process Manufacturing Engineering Senior Lead Engineer role at Micron is a high-impact leadership opportunity in Boise, Idaho. The position is developed for an experienced leader who has successfully directed engineering leaders across several teams and driven central initiatives in a complex manufacturing context. As a Senior Engineer Lead, Manufacturing Engineering- Wet Process, you will empower and develop a team of leaders while encouraging a culture where people feel safe to contribute, question assumptions, and take ownership. You will demonstrate the behaviors of a unified, high-performing team by promoting clarity, healthy discussion, mutual accountability, and shared dedication to results. Requirements

• Proven capability to guide technical teams toward achieving demanding objectives.
• Expertise in managing and mentoring team performance.
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing requirements and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience working as a Wet Process Engineer in a leadership capacity
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes

Responsibilities

• Champion a proactive safety culture by mentoring engineering leads to embed EHS and PHA guidelines into daily operations.
• Encourage and guide engineering leads to develop their current leadership skills and technical expertise.
• Coordinate planning for process and operational performance improvements, including reducing variability and minimizing unplanned production interruptions.
• Provide oversight and mentorship on project prioritization and resource allocation to improve impact and mitigate risk.
• Lead performance management for engineering leads, including goal setting, feedback, and succession planning.
