Requirements

  • Bachelors/ Masters in Chemistry and Materials Science
  • Minimum of 4- 8 years’ experience in technical environment (Materials and Processes Engineering, chemistry, environmental regulations or electronic).
  • Strong technical knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials, composites, and chemical products.
  • Familiarity with international standards for materials and processes (ISO, EN, MIL, etc.).
  • Experience and understanding of European chemical regulations, including REACh, RoHS, F-GAS….
  • Familiarity with chemical risk assessment, classification, and labelling (CLP regulation)
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.

  • Experience with databases and managing large volumes of parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Controlling and validating environmental data collection and maintenance on all types of components in the corporate database
  • Controlling and validating data on chemical mixtures.
  • Analyzing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from manufacturers
  • Querying/Surveying components manufacturers for data collection
  • Performing data consolidations and communicating summary results
  • Assess and monitor obsolescence associated with chemical products
  • Ensure compliance with internal requirements in terms of deadlines, data quality and reliability
