About The Position

Envirogen is a forward-thinking company specializing in sustainable water treatment solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Henderson Nevada. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes that support our cutting-edge water treatment technologies. As a Chemical Engineer at Envirogen, you will work closely with other engineers and scientists to develop innovative chemical methods for water purification and contamination control. You will participate in pilot testing, scale-up processes, and collaborate on continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience in chemical process development, preferably within the water treatment industry.
Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, reaction engineering, and process kinetics.
Experience with laboratory and pilot-scale experimental design and analysis.
Familiarity with environmental regulations and safety standards (EPA, OSHA).
Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize chemical processes for water and wastewater treatment.
Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to validate process designs.
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate chemical engineering solutions in full-scale plants.
Analyze process data and troubleshoot operational issues.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all chemical processes.
Document technical reports, process specifications, and safety protocols.
Stay current with advancements in chemical engineering and water treatment technologies.
