Boeing’s Aviation Business Solutions (ABS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engagement Leader specializing in commercial airline Engineering and Technical Services. This dynamic and rewarding position is within the ABS Profit and Loss (P&L) business where Engagement Leaders build discrete and unique projects and services within the aviation ecosystem. This specific position reports to the M&E Practice Principal, however the role is a semi-autonomous one where the Engagement Leader independently pursues opportunities by working directly with customers to understand their challenges and, utilizing their experience, creativity and entrepreneurial skills, develops actionable proposals to address their problems and add value to their business operations. Being a P&L, it is critical that our Senior Engagement Leaders are credible experts in the businesses we support; the ability to listen to our customers’ problems, understand the underlying business challenges and processes, develop customized solutions that provide value to the customer, and execute on these projects is core to our mission. This work requires effective communication at all levels of management, from the C-Suite to front-line employees. Sr. Engagement Leaders in the M&E Practice must possess the experience and knowledge of an airline Maintenance & Engineering senior leader to be able to properly communicate, understand the customer problems and issues, and develop solutions that will deliver the value the customer expects. As every proposal is customized for the specific customer, a deep understanding of operating regulations and practices and how each operator’s unique maintenance and engineering organization and processes comply with the regulations is required. Additionally, ABS maintains an agnostic fleet and support system stance; we provide services to operators with Boeing and/or non-Boeing equipment. Aviation Business Solutions Our current team of high-caliber Engagement Leaders work collaboratively to leverage Boeing's unique Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) vast span of technical knowledge and aircraft expertise, including those of our strategic suppliers, to deliver operational and technical solutions to globally diverse aviation operators (Commercial and Business Aviation), domestic and foreign governments, airports, and maintenance providers. Our core business strategy is to assist and support our customers in developing or improving their business processes to achieve optimal performance including the business transformations and change management necessary to sustain that performance. Specific business specialty areas within ABS include: Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) - this is the primary expertise required for this specific job Operational Technology and ICS Cyber Security Aviation Operations (flight and ground) Managed Engineering Services Optimized Maintenance Programs Examples of Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) engagements include, but are not limited to: Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) Startup/Development Airline M&E/CAMO Organizational setup, development and improvement Component and Cabin Maintenance analytics and program improvements Airline Maintenance business process improvements Aircraft transitions from operator to lessor, or owner to new owner New capability development or improvement, such as shop maintenance, powerplant workscoping, inventory management, etc. Our unique business model allows the team to successfully work in a virtual environment; we currently have personnel based in various states and provinces throughout the US and Canada.
