About The Position
On behalf of AlphaHire, we are seeking a senior-level Employment Law Attorney with extensive experience defending public school districts in employment-related litigation. This role is designed for an attorney with deep subject-matter expertise in public sector employment law and a proven record of trial work involving K-12 or higher education entities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of employment law experience
- Demonstrated trial experience defending public schools or public agencies
- Strong litigation background; public sector defense experience strongly preferred
- Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and courtroom presence
Responsibilities
- Defend public school districts in employment and labor matters
- Manage complex litigation from pre-trial through resolution
- Handle trials, hearings, and administrative proceedings
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Advise public education clients on employment law risk and strategy
