Senior Employment & Labor Counsel, Part-Time

Post Consumer BrandsLakeville, MN

About The Position

At Post Consumer Brands, you’ll experience the best of both worlds — big company opportunity with a small company attitude. You’ll work closely with a sharp, collaborative HR and Legal team, contribute to meaningful and influential work, and enjoy the balance and flexibility of a true part-time schedule. This is a role where your expertise makes an immediate impact. You’ll guide leaders across the organization, shape employment and labor strategy, and help protect a culture known for being down-to-earth, people-focused, and rooted in doing what’s right. It’s challenging work paired with supportive colleagues, beloved brands, and a workplace where your contributions truly matter. Discover just right. About the Role Reporting to PCB’s General Counsel, the Senior Employment & Labor Counsel will serve as a day-to-day advisor on employment and labor matters across our U.S. and Canadian operations. Partnering across HR, Manufacturing, and Legal, you will provide practical legal guidance, help prevent and resolve disputes, support labor relations, and ensure compliance with evolving employment laws. Designed as a true 20‑hours‑per‑week role, this position is ideal for an experienced employment attorney looking to intentionally step back from full-time practice while still owning meaningful, complex work — with a team that is committed to protecting part-time boundaries, not quietly expanding them.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills with a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous or fast‑moving situations.
  • Ability to build trust and influence at all levels — from plant HR teams to senior leaders.
  • A proactive, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves working style and comfort operating within a small legal team.
