About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst - Employee Benefits to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in both actuarial science and brokerage, coupled with exceptional analytical and communication skills. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing employee benefits data, developing financial models, and providing strategic insights to support the clients' needs. This is a hybrid position, requiring two days in-office and three days remote work per week.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision claims data
  • Build and maintain underwriting and financial models
  • Develop cost projections and trend assumptions
  • Monitor client plan performance against budget
  • Provide financial reporting and dashboards to clients
  • Support consultants in client strategy development
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Evaluate plan design changes and their financial impact
  • Review carrier financials, renewals, and rate filings
  • Conduct vendor and carrier comparisons (RFP analysis)
  • Ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Stay current on market trends, regulations, and benchmarks
  • Support the sales process by developing financial exhibits and analyzing plan performance
