The role of Employee Benefits Analyst involves managing complex projects and client deliverables, analyzing financial metrics related to health and welfare benefit plans, developing multi-year strategic plans for employer clients, researching emerging trends in healthcare and employee benefits, and supporting B&B operations through data analysis and technical assistance. The position also includes vendor management tasks and client reporting.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from a competitive college or university; minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA
  • 0-3 years of prior work experience
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as problem-solving, knowledge-sharing, and teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • An interest in healthcare related fields
  • Obtain NY Life, Accident & Health License

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex projects and client deliverables
  • Analyze financial metrics related to health and welfare benefit plans
  • Work with client teams to help develop multi-year strategic plans for employer clients
  • Research emerging trends in the national healthcare and employee benefits landscape
  • Support B&B operations through ad-hoc data analysis
  • Provide technical assistance for the firm’s ongoing projects
  • Support and execute on vendor management related tasks on behalf of our employer clients
  • Provide monthly client reporting in a timely manner
  • Assist with Contribution Analysis and Modeling
  • Use of the Agency Management System
  • Other duties as assigned
