About The Position

As a Senior EM FX and Rates Strategist at Société Générale, you will deliver high-quality, research-driven foreign exchange and rates markets insights and trade ideas focused on emerging markets. COMPENSATION: Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. Requirements

• Master's degree in economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FX and rates strategy, macroeconomic research, or related fields with a focus on emerging markets.
• Deep knowledge of emerging market economies, political risk factors, and regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate robust EM rates and FX strategies and trade ideas, grounded in comprehensive macroeconomic, political, and market research across emerging markets.
• Monitor and analyze central bank policies, geopolitical events, and economic indicators to assess impacts on EM currencies and rates markets.
• Collaborate closely with sales, trading, and research teams to integrate FX strategy into client solutions and trading execution.
• Produce clear, timely market commentary, strategy reports, and presentations tailored to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of quantitative models and scenario analyses to support EM rates and FX forecasting.
• Represent Société Générale as an expert in emerging markets in client meetings, industry forums, and media engagements, reinforcing the bank's thought leadership.
