About The Position

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise. Our sights are set high and our problems are hard, and we believe that diversity in the workplace is what makes us smarter, drives better insights, and will ultimately lift us all to success. We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in circuit analysis and simulation for mixed-signal control systems
  • Proven expertise conducting WCCA, DFMEA, and margin analysis on MCU-based boards, sensor interfaces, or power management systems
  • Proficiency with SPICE simulation tools (PSpice, LTSpice, HSPICE) and MATLAB/Simulink
  • Strong understanding of MCU control circuits, analog sensor interfaces (resolvers, voltage/current sensors), PMICs, power sequencing, and component derating principles
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Safety and Reliability teams on risk assessment
  • Understanding of DO-254, DO-160, or similar aerospace/automotive safety standards
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills in multidisciplinary environments
