Your impact Own expert-level PM and break/fix across multi-discipline assets; conceive and implement mechanical/electrical upgrades that boost uptime. Program and troubleshoot advanced PLC/controls to resolve software, hardware, and configuration faults quickly and safely. Leverage predictive tools—infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, power quality analysis, laser interferometry, ball bar, and vibration analysis—to detect issues before they become failures. Drive CI: lead kaizens, apply CI tools, and quantify results and cost savings. Source parts and materials; recommend alternatives and engineered solutions for long-term reliability. Adhere to industry-standard maintenance practices; uphold 5S and world-class housekeeping. Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools; weld components as needed. Research emerging methods and technologies; standardize best practices and keep documentation current across sites. Prepare inputs for capital justifications, rebuild/repair proposals, and innovation-driven cost reductions. Maintain CMMS accuracy; analyze historical data to guide decisions. Provide technical content for sales quotations; perform T&M assignments as required. Coach junior technicians and take on project management duties when assigned. Lead with safety—follow policies, stay situationally aware, and mitigate risks proactively.
