About The Position

Are you the expert people call when complex machines go down? Step into a senior, hands-on role where you’ll solve tough problems, elevate reliability, and shape maintenance standards across advanced manufacturing environments. What you’ll do Execute expert break-fix and preventive maintenance: observe equipment in operation to isolate root causes; disassemble to access faulty parts; inspect components; adjust controls and mechanisms; repair/replace parts; verify results with electrical/mechanical testing; recondition and repair machine tools. Source parts and supplies; evaluate and propose alternatives that enhance cost-effectiveness and reliability. Assemble retrofit/upgrade/alternate-function packages and drive their implementation. Independently perform maintenance to industry benchmarks; write maintenance standards and instructions for modified or new manufacturing assets. Direct customer counterparts on maintenance optimization, reliability tactics, and PM processes. Operate lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking equipment; perform welding as needed to fabricate or repair parts. Alter, troubleshoot, and analyze complex control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues. Use advanced maintenance technologies to capture equipment performance data; analyze trends and recommend improvements. Document all work in service reports and management systems; clearly explain findings and performance data. Create technical manuals and develop operating/maintenance procedures related to upgrades and automation integrations. Coach lower-level technicians, provide project leadership, deliver on-the-job training, and lead technical development programs for customers and peers. Follow all safety policies, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines; maintain situational awareness and call out unsafe behaviors and conditions. Comply with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping rules, and safety processes.
