As the Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator, the role involves directing and preparing lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus estimates, ranging from simple cost analysis to definitive estimates. These estimates support proposals, project controls, and project change orders. The Black & Veatch Operations team develops, deploys, and maintains global resources and capabilities to guide execution and process excellence across the organization. Requirements

8 to 20 years of relevant experience, including some estimating experience
Field and/or project experience
Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search)

Responsibilities

Lead/Work on E & I estimates in the following Industries: Advanced Generation, Battery Storage, Utility Solar, Fuel & Natural Resources/Process
Manage multiple professionals and projects
Perform analytical reviews of estimates
Assist in the maintenance of the Estimating database
Works with the estimating team to create process efficiencies
Coordinate with Management on the Training of early career professionals
Travel to active projects to perform audits etc.
