Requirements

5-8 years of hands-on design experience as a consulting electrical engineer in building construction.
You have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
You possess a Professional Engineer license, PE or are in the process of obtaining a PE.
You have experience with complex institutional healthcare, mission critical, and commercial projects.
You are familiar with codes, standards and design guidelines.
You have Project Management experience.
You have leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.
Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
Develop electrical system design calculations.
Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
Perform QA/QC design work.
Lead a project team and manage projects.
Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
Coordinate work with other disciplines.
Complete code compliance research.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations.
