What Kind of Person We Are Looking For: Collaborate with the design and compute teams to refine PCBAs, wiring harnesses, and electrical subsystems for manufacturability, serviceability, and cost efficiency. Lead DFM and DFA reviews for electrical and compute assemblies, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to production. Design, validate, and support electrical test systems, including automated end-of-line test setups and diagnostic fixtures. Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of electrical integration issues in assembly and production environments. Support layout and design updates for custom compute boards, actuator control boards, and sensor interfaces as needed. Develop and maintain electrical process documentation — schematics, harness routing, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and safety protocols. Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to validate full electromechanical integration, thermal performance, and EMI/ESD compliance. Lead or support scaling initiatives, including design transfer, process qualification, and vendor validation. Identify and implement automation and data-driven improvements in test coverage, yield, and line throughput.
