Infosys is seeking a Senior EDI Consultant. As a Senior EDI Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Relevant Information Technology experience. Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of hands ‑ on experience in EDI analysis, mapping, integrations, and trading partner onboarding. Strong expertise with EDI transactions (ANSI X12: 850/855/856/810/820/830/862/997; EDIFACT equivalents). Deep experience in EDI map development using ITXA, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, or similar tools. Build and maintain canonical maps, partner-specific variants, transformations, validations, and lookup/cross ‑ reference tables. Design, configure, and troubleshoot EDI envelope structures (ISA/GS/GE/IEA; UNB/UNZ, UNG/UNE) with proper control numbers and compliance rules. Set up and manage partner profiles, routing rules, envelope settings, and communication parameters in integration middleware. Lead customer and supplier onboarding discussions to capture requirements, timelines, SLAs, and supported EDI documents. Facilitate partner working sessions to finalize mapping logic, enveloping standards, acknowledgements (997/CONTRL), and exception-handling flows. Drive connectivity and handshake testing (AS2, SFTP, VAN, APIs), including certificate exchange, encryption, and security controls. Execute and support end ‑ to ‑ end partner certification, test-case development, debugging, and ensuring first ‑ pass transaction success. Provide production support for EDI failures, reprocessing, message tracking, acknowledgements, and SLA-driven issue resolution. Maintain accurate documentation: mapping specifications, envelope definitions, onboarding guides, connectivity sheets, and runbooks. Promote standardization and reusable mapping/envelope templates to improve onboarding speed and reduce technical debt. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
