In this role, you will assist clients through all project phases, from conception and planning to implementation and follow-up monitoring. Our projects include traditional and renewable energy, water resources, highways and roads, private and commercial development, farming and dairy operations, timber harvest, mining, conservation and management, and ecological research and monitoring. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in ecological principles, environmental science, and biodiversity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing detailed reports, presenting findings, and educating the community
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement conservation plans and management strategies
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and GIS software to analyze environmental data
  • Experience in managing research projects, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Ability to work both in the office and field work, with exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct ecological assessments and field studies to evaluate environmental conditions and biodiversity
  • Analyze ecological data and prepare detailed reports and presentations
  • Develop and implement conservation strategies and management plans to protect and enhance ecosystems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private sector partners, to support conservation initiatives
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on ecological matters to project teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards
