Senior Echocardiograph Technologist - Echocardiology
About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Echocardiology, the Senior Echocardiology Technologist performs Echocardiographic procedures, assists physicians as required and does related work as assigned. The Senior Echocardiology Technologist also precepts echo students and is responsible for orienting new staff to the Echo department. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Requirements
- Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed a formal training program or equivalent in Echocardiology and demonstrate ability to complete competency in Echocardiography.
- Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years experience as clinical technologist, or two (2) years as a registered technologist.
