Job Summary Responsible for supporting White Cap’s digital and e-commerce efforts by working closely with customers, internal teams, and technology platforms. Manages e-quotes, keeping product catalogs accurate, supporting tools like Optimizely, punchout setups, and Oracle order processing . Assists customers with using digital solutions efficiently, solves issues quickly, and works with different teams to ensure a seamless process from quote to delivery.

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Technical acumen, effective communication.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Resides in Birmingham, AL area with ability to come into the office daily

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Optimizely and Magento.
  • ERP knowledge, Oracle.
  • Experience with TradeCentric and PunchOut solutions.
  • E-Procurement systems experience

Responsibilities

  • Guides new customers through connected commerce platform setup for a smooth activation.
  • Coordinates punchout setups with internal teams and customer IT contacts.
  • Provides daily service for integrated accounts, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.
  • Administers e-quote requests from start to finish with fast turnaround and clear communication.
  • Understands all aspects of the E-Commerce platform Optimizely, including site content, product data, promotions, and troubleshooting issues from the field.
  • Works with sales, IT, and operations to support connected commerce initiatives.
  • Maintains hosted catalogs with up-to-date SKUs, pricing, and availability.
  • Oversees order processing, track progress, and troubleshoot errors.
  • Ensures alignment with teams and customers through clear documentation and communication.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
