The Senior Director, WW Reporting position will be responsible for FP&A Global Commercialization processes, including standardization of reporting & analytics to drive business performance and facilitate timely decision making as well as alignment with enterprise priorities. The role will lead the Commercialization HQ FP&A team. The Senior Director WW Reporting will lead across the matrix and collaborate across global/regional teams. The role interacts at all levels of the organization to deliver financial planning & analysis operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of a BS/BA or equivalent required, finance, accounting or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant Finance experience in business planning, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Strong FP&A skills and ability to orchestrate global processes (preferrable in the pharmaceutical industry).
  • Proven leadership capabilities and collaboration across global/regional teams with a strong ability to lead in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to translate high-level strategy into day-to-day operations.
  • Track record of implementing automation and digital solutions while translating digital and AI strategies into concrete data requirements.
  • Experience designing and executing data-driven finance processes.

  • Experience in Market & Global roles is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of databases, data structures, and digital/AI technologies preferrable.

Responsibilities

  • Managing FP&A capability across Commercial, including reporting, planning, and overall calendar/timelines across BMS for a Commercialization organization & the Commercial leadership team overseeing sales and operating expenses.
  • Supporting the SVP Finance and Chief Commercial Officer with analytics for CCO/CEO/CFO/BOD reviews.
  • Designing, implementing, and continuously improving Global Commercial FP&A processes by increasing clarity & simplification.
  • Delivering timely, accurate and consistent reporting and analyses.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and support the optimization of resource allocation across regions/functions.
  • Aggregating and synthesizing financial data and insights.
  • Ownership of Headcount Planning for Commercialization Finance and alignment with strategic value initiatives.
  • Close collaboration with Regional, US and Above-Market teams (collaborating across regions).
  • Driving initiatives to increase data quality for robust decision-making by converting digital and AI strategies into actionable business and data requirements.
  • Designing and Implementing Data-Driven Processes: data readiness, analytics, and automation.
  • Close partnership with Commercial Digital Finance and leading the Commercial FP&A HQ team (4 employees).
