About The Position

The Senior Director, Supply Chain Planning & Execution, leads all areas of planning in the Global Water Business unit (approx. $2.45B revenue). The role will focus on four key planning areas: demand, supply (i.e., finished goods, semi-finished goods and raw materials), & inventory planning (in the tactical and strategic horizon), and drive the execution of the S&OP process. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in leading a planning organization, driving improvement of key metrics through action and/or influence, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and the ability to articulate complex issues into a crisp, succinct, and detailed plan. Position Location: This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Deerfield, IL HQ Tues-Thurs with flexibility to work remotely on Monday & Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree is desired.
  • 12+ years of progressive Supply Chain Planning leadership, with deep expertise in demand, supply, and inventory planning.
  • Prior experience leading the S&OP process is a requirement.
  • Prior SAP ERP experience is required (i.e., SAP ECC and/or S4/Hana); experience with implementing advanced demand and supply planning tools is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, influence senior leaders, effect change, and make strategic decisions with a powerful sense of urgency.
  • Proven success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical capability, including expert proficiency in Excel and strong command of supply chain analytics and modeling.
  • Strong executive communication & storytelling, emotional intelligence, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in a CPG organization is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execution leader of the S&OP process for the Water business unit; ensuring team drives a standard, consistent, and robust operating rhythm. Must partner with the Global Process Owner (GPO) Leader in ensuring we operate within the FBIN standard method.
  • Drive the demand planning process and owns results for metric understanding and improvement. Strong emphasis on understanding and aligning on the key inputs/outputs in the plan along with highlighting the associated risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee the supply and material planning process and ensure alignment with operations, procurement, and logistics functions. Strong emphasis on connecting the make vs. buy decisions with labor/capacity considerations, product prioritization, inventory holding, and space requirements.
  • Highlight planning constraints and develop trade off options that must be negotiated, aligned, and managed throughout the supply chain execution.
  • Facilitate and drive the weekly S&OE Pulse Meeting for the business. Focus on ensuring the execution of the consensus plan and/or alignment on the deviations of the plan based on new intelligence.
  • Exceed key business metrics: customer service (fill rate, on time, & OTIF), working capital (inventory dollars, rolling DSI and spot DSI), forecasting ability (BIAS, WAPE, Accuracy)
