Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Director of Product Management – Ecosystem is responsible for shaping and executing product strategy across Pantone’s digital platforms, design workflows, and ecosystem offerings, while maintaining strategic responsibility for hardware‑linked products that anchor Pantone’s authority, trust, and accuracy. This role blends design‑led product thinking, modern digital innovation, and platform/marketplace dynamics, ensuring physical and digital products work together as a cohesive, scalable ecosystem. In this role, a typical day will look like: Product Strategy & Execution Develop strategies and Drive roadmap execution across digital tools, platforms, and ecosystem initiatives Translate XRP brand authority into scalable, defensible digital products Brand & Design Workflows Deeply understand designer, brand, and supplier workflows Ensure Pantone products integrate naturally into creative and production environments Marketplaces & Network Effects Support marketplace and ecosystem initiatives that connect brands, suppliers, and partners Design for network effects, data flywheels, and ecosystem participation Digital Innovation Apply modern product management practices: discovery, experimentation, data‑driven prioritization Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing Hardware‑Linked Product Oversight Own product direction for hardware‑adjacent offerings where they enable trust, standards, and workflows Ensure hardware roadmaps align with broader digital and ecosystem strategy The essential requirements of the job include 8–12+ years of product management experience, including leadership of complex or multi‑product portfolios Experience with brand‑led, design‑centric, or workflow‑driven products Proven exposure to digital platforms, ecosystems, or marketplaces Familiarity with hardware‑software or physical‑digital product environments Demonstrated ability to lead senior product managers and influence executive stakeholders X-Rite Pantone is proud to part of the Product Quality & Innovation segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $225,000 - $240,000 per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
