About The Position

The Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Catholic Initiatives is senior-level leadership role responsible for stewarding and scaling CarePortal’s national Catholic initiatives while providing executive oversight of the organization’s Strategic Partnerships function. This role exists to unlock the extraordinary potential of the Catholic Church as a frontline responder in the Care-Sharing movement, while also ensuring CarePortal’s most critical strategic partnerships are prioritized, aligned, and positioned for long-term impact. Catholic initiatives represent a protected priority of this role, aligned with dedicated funding and outcomes established through CarePortal’s Catholic Strategy investment. Reporting to executive leadership, the Senior Director provides vision, strategy, and stewardship across enterprise-level partnerships. This role serves as the architect and senior relationship owner for Catholic initiatives and select strategic partners, while enabling execution through Strategic Partnerships staff, Field teams, and Advancement as appropriate. The Senior Director directly manages Strategic Partnerships team members with distinct partnership portfolios and provides clarity, prioritization, and accountability across the partnership ecosystem. Over time, this function may expand to include additional strategists as opportunity and timing allow. This is not a symbolic or advisory role. This is a catalytic leadership role designed to move CarePortal from early Catholic momentum to durable, national scale and further strengthen our strategic partnerships through organizational alignment.
