About The Position

Job Summary The Program Manager – Senior Director role is an individual contributor – leadership role who operates across multiple projects and initiatives that, as a collective unit, represent a large or strategically important initiative for CSI. The Program Manager identifies risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies from within each of the projects and/or initiatives assigned to a program as independent units of work that require oversight, transparency and reporting to ensure the success of the overall program. The Program Manager places focus on key challenges that are presented across projects and initiatives to ensure the intersections and interdependencies of each of the projects within a program are managed effectively. The Program Manager oversees the management and executive reporting of the program, highlighting results of overall program expectations and bringing to light challenges, concerns, milestones and successes of the various projects connected to the program. The Program Manager consults with and mentors Project Leaders and other Leaders participating within the various projects and initiatives assigned to the program. Typically manages multiple, unique, complex, cross-functional, and/or larger-scoped projects to support strategic initiatives. Typically manages multiple projects simultaneously. Assigned projects tend to require more proactive, higher-touch, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. Requirements

  • 10 -15+ years of experience in managing multiple project engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • PMI Project Management Professional Management certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing high-visibility programs with executive stakeholders.
  • Expert knowledge of program management methodologies and governance models.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and organizational complexity.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS, enterprise technology, or financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, complex programs composed of multiple interdependent projects, workstreams, and stakeholder groups.
  • Define program and/or project vision, objectives, success metrics, and outcomes aligned to business and client priorities.
  • Establish and oversee governance structures including charters, decision frameworks, RAID management, and executive steering committees.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment at senior levels and resolve conflicts, dependencies, and obstacles.
  • Develop integrated multi-phase program/project plans including timelines, dependencies, resources, scope, and risks.
  • Coordinate work across project managers, functional leaders, technical teams, and partners.
  • Ensure consistent application of program and project management standards and tools.
  • Monitor execution across workstreams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Own program-level executive communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready status reports and dashboards.
  • Facilitate executive reviews, planning sessions, and decision forums.
  • Serve as the escalation point for critical program/project issues.
  • Proactively identify and manage program/project risks and issues.
  • Lead structured change management for scope, timeline, and resourcing changes.
  • Oversee program/project budgets, forecasting, and financial impact assessments.
  • Partner with finance and functional leaders to align resources and funding.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program delivery and governance practices.
  • Mentor and support program and project managers.
  • Ensure organizational readiness for product launches and transformations.
  • Capture and communicate lessons learned to improve future programs.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
