About The Position

Organization: SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Bay Position Overview: Develop and drive a proactive, data/insights driven system strategy, program implementation, and outreach program that supports growth and obtains targets. Develop and manage all outreach engagement and growth strategies that drive preference and growth for system offerings. Lead strategic program initiatives that showcase our innovative products and services while providing direct to consumer solutions for key health priorities. Translates Sutter Health’s portfolio of healthcare plans, products, and services into actionable marketing and sales strategies that achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets while creating visibility in the broker and benefits consulting community through effective leadership, insightful strategic direction, and productive oversight. Oversee strategy, planning, and development of system-wide outreach efforts. Lead initiatives with key constituents to develop actionable plans to present, educate, and develop relationships to achieve targets. Internally work with all medical foundations, including physician leaders, directors and leadership committees to lead communication and outreach efforts with internal stakeholders on education, goals, issues management, and growth metrics.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of health plan policies, practices, and systems including: evidence of coverage (EOC), summary of benefits and coverage (SBC), and contracts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managed care products and California’s Department of Managed Healthcare (DMHC) directives.
  • Solid understanding of managing personal health information (PHI) including compliance with all confidentiality and security policies and procedures related to use, access, and disclosure.
  • Thorough knowledge of CRM principles, methodologies, and tools including formal change architectures, models and frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
  • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
  • Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.
