About The Position

The Senior Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Strategy provides strategic leadership for graduate enrollment across Weatherhead's School of Management working professional programs. Partnering with the Associate Dean, this role designs and executes multi-year recruitment plans that align with institutional growth and financial goals. The senior director drives performance through data-informed decision-making, oversees key partnerships and marketing collaborations, and ensures the effectiveness and integrity of the enrollment process from prospect to matriculation.

  • Superior interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication abilities, paired with excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to connect with a wide array of stakeholders, including corporate C-suite partners, civic leaders, prospective and current students, alumni, and faculty from varied cultural backgrounds.
  • Superior organizational skills with the capacity to manage both detailed and large-scale objectives concurrently.
  • Creative thinker who can devise and implement out-of-the-box solutions to reach established goals.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, along with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Skilled at navigating organizational structures and processes to achieve goals efficiently.
  • Proficient with MS Office and experienced in managing Slate databases.
  • Demonstrated history of successful support, education, and advocacy for all students, aligned with the values, mission, and messaging of the university, while adhering to the staff policy on conflict of commitment and interest.
  • Consistently reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance.
  • Competent in engaging with colleagues, supervisors, and customers directly, face to face.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Ten or more years of successful experience in sales, executive search, corporate recruiting or graduate school admissions roles.
  • Master's degree or JD required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Enrollment Strategy: Collaborate with associate dean to develop multi-year graduate recruiting strategic plans leveraging the school of managements competitive advantages to achieve growth objectives in working professional programs. Execute recruiting strategies to maximize enrollment and net tuition revenue and continuously seek ways to achieve outreach goals. Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment sourcing strategies, including planning of travel, fairs, events (in person and virtual), class visits and follow-up to achieve admission and enrollment objectives. Extensive travel is required to represent Weatherhead School of Management at recruitment and marketing events.
  • Performance Management: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for working professional programs. Align strategies to financial forecasts and be accountable to programs' performance and financial outcomes. Develop and manage a comprehensive retention strategy monitoring student success metrics to improve persistence and graduation rates. Track and assess the effectiveness of recruitment and marketing strategies for the working professional programs.
  • Process Management: Oversee admissions data integrity, accuracy, timeliness and reporting to support strategic enrollment decisions and institutional planning. Drive the enrollment process, ensuring compliance with guidelines, policies, and expectations. Utilize emerging technologies, including predictive analytics and AI, to optimize all aspects of the enrollment funnel. Establish metrics to measure applicant flow including application review and assessment activities (interviews, merit-based scholarship decisions, and matriculation).
  • Partnership & Marketing Collaboration: Evaluate enrollment trends and identify new target markets and geographies. Work closely with the graduate recruitment marketing team to develop and execute appropriate marketing and outreach strategies. Collaborate with faculty and staff program directors to ensure student success within working professional programs. Identify opportunities and establish partnership frameworks with external agencies to expand market presence and lead generation, while ensuring alignment with institutional goals and accountability through measurable outcomes.
