About The Position

We're looking for a data-driven, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Director of Marketing, Patient Acquisition to build and scale a high-performing, multi-channel marketing engine that fuels sustainable patient growth across the Smile Doctors network. This leader will transform how we attract and convert new patients, evolving from a mostly single-channel approach into a diversified, full-funnel marketing program that drives measurable ROI and supports clinics with available capacity. The ideal candidate brings deep performance marketing expertise, proven success building from the ground up, and a passion for connecting strategy, creativity, and data to deliver growth. You will define the paid media roadmap, build scalable frameworks for testing and optimization, and lead cross-functional collaboration to improve conversion from first impression through appointment. This is a high-impact role for a builder who can lead both strategy and execution, balancing analytical rigor with creative energy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading performance marketing or growth functions, ideally in multi-location, consumer, or healthcare organizations.
  • Proven track record of building integrated marketing programs from the ground up spanning both digital and traditional channels.
  • Deep expertise in paid media strategy (search, social, OTT, display, and direct mail) and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with data, attribution, and ROI modeling to guide strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated success managing agencies, large budgets, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate performance data into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and action-oriented, with a track record of thriving in dynamic, evolving environments.
  • A passion for growth marketing, innovation, and helping people find the care they need through meaningful brand experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the patient acquisition strategy by designing and executing an integrated marketing program that drives new patient starts and achieves same-store growth goals.
  • Build a diversified media mix across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, OTT, direct mail, and retargeting, optimizing channel performance through testing and data-driven insights.
  • Develop and launch regional pilot programs to validate multi-channel effectiveness and establish best practices for national rollout.
  • Create and optimize promotional strategies by testing offers, pricing, and messaging to identify what drives the strongest conversion by audience segment and market type.
  • Establish a robust audience segmentation framework leveraging demographic, geographic, and behavioral insights to inform targeting, creative, and investment decisions.
  • Oversee agency and vendor relationships, driving consolidation and central governance to ensure performance, consistency, and cost efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve lead handling, conversion processes, and end-to-end patient experience.
  • Develop clear reporting and performance dashboards that provide transparency into marketing effectiveness, ROI, and conversion metrics.
  • Guide creative development and testing, ensuring all assets are aligned with promotions, audience insights, and brand objectives.
  • Build for scale by creating a repeatable and measurable framework for patient acquisition that can be deployed consistently across new and existing markets.
