About The Position

The Senior Director Home Health is responsible for providing strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for Sentara’s owned home health care agencies across Virginia and North Carolina. This role ensures consistent delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and compliant care to patients in the comfort of their homes. As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Director oversees multidisciplinary staff—including nurses, therapists, and administrative professionals—ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives . This position plays a critical role in strengthening community and physician partnerships to expand access, enhance service delivery, and elevate the overall patient and family experience. Education/Experience Bachelors Degree (required) 1 year of Home Care Management (required) 5 years of Healthcare Leadership (required) Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-driven leader with strong clinical insight, operational acumen, and a deep commitment to advancing home-based care Plans, develops and directs the Home Health program, services and activities for all home health branches in Virginia and North Carolina. Develops and implements objectives, manages the overall operations of the Agency for Home Health to include strategic long term goals, budget planning, cost control methods and evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the agencies services and programs for overall agency of Home Health

Requirements
